I find a special calmness when placing brush to canvas, hands to clay, and even stylus to screen. It is during these moments when the world around me seems a blur. I can just focus on what I am working on, with a tranquil mind. I enjoy exploring all types of media ranging from photography to ceramics, sewing to beading, and even painting to sculpting. Within the range of painting, I also like to try a variety of mediums such as watercolors, acrylics, gouache, and oils. For as long as I can remember, art has been a key part of my life. It is my happy place.
